Making bootable USB Keys

Requirements

  1. Need an bootable ISO (disk image)
  2. Need an app to setup the key
  3. Need a USB key with 8.0 GB or more of space, preferably USB 3.0

Tools by platform

  • Ubuntu: Startup Disk Creator (usually installed) [1]
  • Windows: Rufus [2]
  • Mac OS X/macOS: Etcher [3] [4]
