INSPIRE
Inspire and support the interest in mathematics of middle school students from nearby communities who might not otherwise have access to math enrichment activities.
IMPART
Impart the mathematical foundations and critical thinking skills required for students to successfully pursue a college education and a career in STEM areas.

AFTERSCHOOL ENRICHMENT
Math CEO helps students reach their full mathematics potential through afterschool sessions of math enrichment. During the 2019-2020 academy year alone, Math CEO offered a total of 105 meetings for middle school and high school students.

ENGAGING MATH CURRICULUM
The Math CEO faculty team works hard to develop fun and challenging math curriculum to share the joy of mathematics with middle school and high school students in the community and around the world.

COLLEGE STUDENTS AS MENTORS AND ROLE MODELS
UCI students act as mentors for Math CEO participants, and receive weekly coaching by the Math CEO leadership team. Beyond helping youth with math, college students simulate successful pathways to college and serve as positive role models for the kids in the program.

COLLEGE ORIENTATION WORKSHOPS
Math CEO leverages the unique social and cultural capital of UCI, a Hispanic-serving institution, to inspire underserved Latinx youth to pursue college and STEM careers. To maximize parents’ ability to support their children in this journey, Math CEO runs bilingual workshops to inform parents about college pathways and financial aid.

STEM-FOCUSED FIELDTRIPS
To inspire young students to pursue college studies in STEM, and give kids a chance to witness the exciting research taking place in UCI labs, Math CEO hosts annual field-trips to UCI for all its middle school and high school participants.

ALWAYS GROWING
Founded in 2014, by math faculty at the University of California, Irvine, Math CEO has quickly grown to be one of the largest mathematical circles in the country that specifically target underserved youth.
Math CEO introduces kids to deep mathematical thinking at a young age while also providing a roadmap to a college education in STEM, and hope for a brighter future.
Since its inception in 2014, Math CEO has provided free afterschool education in mathematics to over 800 Latinx children. As Math CEO continues to grow, we believe it will have significant educational and cultural impact in Santa Ana and other underserved communities in Southern California.
